Executive Summary

USAID/Philippines, through its Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting for Improved Development (CLAimDev) activity, conducted a third-party performance evaluation of the Marawi Response Project (MRP), a cooperative agreement activity of USAID and Plan International USA.

The MRP Project Performance Evaluation highlighted lessons on social cohesion, micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME), and the role of the local government units (LGUs) in the development that supported the efforts of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) and their host communities to thrive and improve their living conditions during the implementation of the MRP activities.

CLAimDev conducted a hybrid learning dissemination event in Manila involving USAID and Plan International officials, local officials and representatives of the provincial and municipal government units of Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte, local partners MARADECA and ECOWEB, and other development partners in Mindanao.
